The Summer of '74

Here is the staff photo from the summer of 1974... a mix of new and returning summer staff, who had experienced an entire season of historical interpretation - and filling time on slow days - already. Among the scruffy archaeological crew that year was one Burke Penny, who would go on to be an HNME and HHP manager and stay with the organization for seventeen years.
